I grew up in Omaha, NE. After high school, I moved east for college. I graduated from Yale in 2010 with honors in economics. After college, I moved to New York City and worked at the Boston Consulting Group, where I worked on strategy projects for large companies, predominately in the health care sector. After 2 years at BCG, I decided to try my hand at academia again, and received my Master's degree in Economic and Social History from Oxford in 2013. I decided academia wasn't for me (for now) and moved to Boulder to learn web development at RefactorU. Now I do that!
I'm a web developer currently living in Boulder, Colorado. I work with all the major front-end tools, and predominately work in node.js for server-side scripting. Libraries I'm familiar with include jQuery, underscore.js, Three.js, handlebars.js, Bootstrap, Foundation, and Express.js.
